As a teacher working with middle and high school students who often need a little extra support, I know the power of creativity to inspire and heal. I use art daily in my classes. For me, creating these pieces is more than an art form – it’s my own creative outlet, a place to explore, express, and bring bold beauty into the world. I believe everyone deserves a way to channel their creativity, and this is mine. Each piece is crafted with care, passion, and the hope that it will bring joy and confidence to others.

Because creativity isn’t just something we do – it’s something we need.

Before teaching, I worked in a role that took me around the world. I explored different cultures, fell in love with colors, patterns, and textiles, and discovered the stories they tell. Now, as a literature teacher, I’m still inspired by what we read — stories that reveal beauty, complexity, and creativity in every corner of life.

That inspiration fuels my art. Each hand-dyed piece reflects a mix of my travels, my passion for creativity, and the power of storytelling.

Because whether in words or colors, every story is worth sharing.
